2015 To-Learn List

Every Year I have been keeping a small list of things to learn/make/do/or try when it comes to knitting. This year, the list is getting more specific as I work on particular techniques . . . and it’s getting interesting this time around because I plan to do a lot of it using stashed yarns.

Learn: Cardigan construction (and cables); Make: Portulaca Cardigan (finished March 10th!), Well Water Cardigan, and I Heart Cardigans

Learn: Shawl Construction; Make: Hanging Leaves (Finished Feb 11th!)

Learn: Basic Spinning; Craftsy class on drafting; Spinners and Weavers Guild Saturday Spin (Achievement unlocked!)

Improve: Fair Isle color work; Make: Sweet Nectar Mitts, Flight Sweater, and Sipalu Bag

Just for Fun: Design a garment pattern AND be a test-knitter

Finish: x-mas pressies as promised

Year-Long Afghan: Love Tangle Blanket (Finished September 18th!)

[Dream Project: Persian Dreams Afghan–sadly, not in the stash  . . . yet]

Yep, you read that right: four sweaters, a blanket, a shawl, some mitts and, you know, whatever else strikes my fancy . . .
