  1. Great episode; I enjoy listening to you talk about fiber and knitting!. For the giveaway, I like the variegated sock yarn in the Variegated Grello and Blues Sox colorway.

Great podcast. I’m made a DIY hackle which is working pretty well for me. Next I need some combs…probably not quite as big as those monsters! 🙂 lol…Knitting in Paris Cash’Sock Valentines Day inspired- His has colors I never usually go for, but my eye keeps getting drawn back to those skeins.

  3. Yippeeeeee! Viewing for my crafty day at home on Monday is SORTED! And it looks like you have loads of great stuff in this episode, too. Now, that giveaway 😀 There was one of the “Back to Basics” skeins that I really liked, but I couldn’t see a colour name… It’s the one that’s crimson and cream, with a few specks of dark grey. Beautiful! I also love the solid scarlet and cute banana stitch markers!

  5. Great episode, Melissa! I’m happy to see that a pink Aileas has been cast on, post-flu, and that you were able to get some spinning time in. What an industrious spinner and knitter you are. 🙂 I hope you’re feeling 100% and that the flu is far behind.

For the giveaway, I noticed a beautiful superwash merino/nylon self-striping hank in Tutti Frutti. That colourway looks good enough to eat. 🙂

I have been watching your podcast and look forward to each new one.
your combs are quite impressive. I am not sure I could handle them. I bought a small set of combs last fall and love using them. they get used more than the set of cards I have.
looking through Knitting in Paris’s etsy shop I fell in love with summer breeze. I live on a lake in Wisconsin and there have been hints of summery breeze the past few weeks with days in the 70* but then a winter gale will come through and the temps quickly drop 20*

Hi! I just found your podcast and now your blog, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I’ve been playing the podcast as my spinning listening. I went and checked out the Etsy shop for Knitting in France and I loved the Smoke color way. I am a neutral gal all the way. Now I need to read through your blog. The things I’ve seen on the podcast are lovely, and as a beginning spinner it is so helpful to see how other people do things. I have a local to me spinning guild, and the way you talk about your guild makes me think I need to go check them out.

    • Thank you so much, Pili! Oh, I do hope you love spinning! It’s such a great way to learn more about yarn (at least that’s one of the ways I approach it–as a big experiment!) Two of the best YouTube spinning teachers are Rachel Smith (of Wool n Spinning) and Jennifer Beamer (of Expertly Dyed); I have enjoyed hearing about their processes. And yes to guilds! They may not all be created equal, but I love mine and the women there have become wonderful friends in fiber 🙂
