GreenCastle Fiber Event!

We made it to Greencastle, IN for the Fiber Event this past weekend. Spencer and I thought you all might like to come along with us . . . so he made a lovely video!

Thanks to Spencer for his film and editing work; thanks to our youngest son for happily accompanying us on so many fiber adventures πŸ™‚ And, of course, thanks to you all for reading and watching! Enjoy the festival!

  2. Oh wow, this festival looks amazing! That “Jetsons” spinning wheel really caught my eye, and it was awesome to see some of the crazy fibres on offer… And the animals they come from! Did you manage to track down some cool buttons?

    • It’s a funky festival, for sure, Helen! I loved that wheel–sounds like it’s out of production at the moment, but what a prize to find one! As for buttons: I saw some cool stuff, but nothing was quite perfect. I’m thinking of ordering in from The Loop, London, whose buttons I just adore . . .

  3. Great footage – so much beautiful fiber! I liked the demo on making the rolags. And wonderful guild booth and collaboration. If I’m still in Chicago next year, this would be a hop, skip, and a jump away. Looks like a real fiber immersion!
