Howdy fiber folk! It’s Spinzilla . . . so no podcast this weekend (I am devoting every minute I can spare to time with my Ladybug–and family, of course!) But, *for* Spinzilla, I spun a gradient yarn, so, I decided to bring you along for the ride: we’ll go through all the steps from dividing up the braid to chain plying the yarn! You can use this technique with almost any brain in your stash OR combine braids for an even more interesting gradient! Fun stuff! Happy spinning everyone! Enjoy your weekend ❤ 🙂
How beautiful, Melissa!

Thanks, Shirley! I can’t wait for some downtime to catch up on all of your blanket goodness. I saw something about a mitered square obsession go by my inbox 🙂 fun!!

This is a super helpful video, Melissa! I have a tendency to view the braids of fiber as too perfect too mess with. I think I need to get over that! 😉 Your results are absolutely lovely. (P.S. Life is crazy. Putting square in the mail tomorrow!)

I totally agree–it’s taken me years to feel comfortable pulling a braid apart 😉 I always used to think: Oh, I don’t want to mess this up! But, take a leap of faith! Looking forward to seeing your square!!
