Knit Together Project Info:
Lots of maker communities collaborate or play “tag” with fun objects, ideas, materials, or FOs. Right now, for example, there is an ice pick making the rounds with YouTubers . . . each person who receives the ice pick makes a video about using the object. I thought that we fiber-fellows could make up a collective project of our own. Won’t you join us?

Instead of my usual knitting projects, I would put my first crochet project, a hexagon granny “square” blanket in that beautiful bag. I am using a rainbow Kauni yarn that I have been hoarding for several years. This blanket will hopefully be done by my daughter’s 6th birthday next month. I’m sure the rainbow blanket will be a big hit with her!

Hey Spencer! I made Melissa get that fleece. It was way too beautiful to pass up. She only got a pound, I got an 8 pound Correidale/Leicestershire Longwool fleece!

    Hi Melissa,
Thanks for this beautiful bag giveaway.
I would definitely put Inside the bag the Flaxlight sweater I am knitting for my niece. My brother and I have been estranged for a few years and he got 2 daughters during that time. Now we have reconnected and I am so happy to knit for my 2 adorable nieces! Yes, this is what a knitters life is sometimes made of.

Hi Melissa! Love your podcast, especially when you explain a lot of details about the sweaters and cardigans you make. Always loved the project bag you showed on the podcast! It’s a fabric from Michael Miller. I would put inside: a scented balm for my hands and nails, my precious interchangeables, a collection of bright stitch markers, and a skein of cashmere merino nylon for a beautiful shawl.
