Foundry Sample Knit for Wool & Honey

[Scroll down for some *hilarious* outtakes from Spencer–the man behind the camera]

This one is pretty gorgeous and artsy. Foundry by Jared Flood of Brooklyn Tweed. Knit in Arbor (100% American grown and spun Targhee); the scarf is a sample for Wool & Honey–a lovely shop in Michigan that also has an excellent online presence. Wool and Honey has a great selection of indie magazines and they host the Sleeping Bear Yarn Club as well! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve drooled over their colorways for sock yarn 🙂 Melissa and Liz of Wool & Honey were wonderful to work with on this project and I’m planning to complete some more sample knitting for them.

Notes for this project can be found on my Ravelry Project Page–these include needle adjustments (I went down 3!! sizes), thoughts on the Arbor yarn, impressions of the tubular cast-on (love it!), and what it means to cable every other row. More info on Episode 37 of the podcast, as well.

Oh, and of course, Spencer got into the act . . .  he’s my wonderful photographer (the man behind the camera), but occasionally he steps out of position to make me laugh just a little. So, maybe these outtakes will bring a smile to your face as well 🙂 ❤ He also promises to appear on the next podcast . . . so watch out!

Wonderful scarf! Enjoyed your podcast on YouTube and it was a LOT of work, smaller size needles with larger yarn can be be difficult on your hands. The color of the scarf works perfectly with Spencers gray shirt. 😀
