Episode 102: Variegated Yarn . . . It’s Not Just for Socks!

Hello yarn-people! Happy to be hanging out with you on the weekend 🙂 In this episode, I have my Bojagi Shawl and a longer discussion about variegated yarns (and their gradient cousins) for socks, shawls, and sweaters. And we’ll talk about those skeins you just can’t seem to knit with–(pssst, the answer is it’s OK!). I also have a winner for the “Out of My League” MAL and some shout outs. Come hang a while? ~Melissa

  1. Wow, this was a really informative episode and it definitely made me think about possibiities for incorporating some variegated yarns into sweaters. I don’t like garments made completely out of variegated wools, but I do think they can make an interesting yoke on an otherwise plain knit.
